  • Sautéed garlicky Carolina White shrimp with seasoned with touch of red pepper with creamy white beans, tuscan kale and grilled french bread


    Shrimp source: Beaufort North Carolina

    Also known as Green Tails, White Shrimp are the second-most abundant shrimp species in North Carolina. They are spawned in the ocean from March to November and are carried by tides and wind-driven currents into Carolina estuaries. These shrimp have a maximum life span of 24 months and they can grow as large as eight inches. White Shrimp stock is extremely healthy and the vessels that harvest them are required to have excluder devices to prevent by catch of other marine species. They are harvested in the fall by our partners in Beaufort and shipped fresh directly to our kitchen.

  • Remove plastic cover from container and set aside any garnishes.

    • Oven: heat to 375 degrees. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until warm throughout.
    • Microwave: 2-3 minutes or until warm throughout.

    Garnish and serve.
